Description: Viola Brown Sanders, holding a Bible, swears in four WAVES who have signed up for another tour at U.S. Naval Station New Orleans, Louisiana, in June of 1949. All of the women wear the WAVES gray and white seersucker working uniform. Pictured (from left to right) are: Geraldine Jessee, unknown, Evelyn Rogers, and Grace Loomis.
