Description: Five graduates of the Duke University School of Nursing and two Duke Medical School alumni gather for a reunion around a table in Saipan in August 1945. Pictured from left to right are: Dorothy Sheldon, Lucy Slade, Cabell Young Jr., Marion Meeks, Kenneth D. Weeks, Jean McCorkell, and Isabelle Whipple. All five women belonged to the Army Nurse Corps, although they wear differing uniforms, while the men were both doctors in the U.S. Navy.
