The photographs include pictures from before Evelyn joined the WAC; photographs of her in uniform at Camp Pickett, Virginia; Evelyn costumed as "Miss Liberty" for the U.S. Army musical revue Sandsations of 1944; other photographs from her military days; and of her wedding. The writings folder contains poems written by Evelyn and accounts of some of her travels while she was stationed overseas with the military.
