Doris K. Wilmott served in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC) and the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) during World War II, probably from 1943 to 1945.
BIOGRAPHY
Doris K. Wilmott enlisted in the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps prior to May 1943, when she attended basic training at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Wilmott remained at Fort Devens through at least July 1943, and by October 1943 appears to have been stationed in North Africa. She remained in the Women’s Army Corps into 1945. Her date of discharge from the service is unknown.
