BIOGRAPHY
Rose Male enlisted in the WAVES in the fall of 1944 attended basic training at Hunter College in the Bronx, New York. She was then sent to Iowa State Teacher's College in Cedar Falls for yeoman school. Male spent the bulk of the remainder of her service in Washington, D.C.
