M.A. Lincoln, of Augusta, Maine served with the British Army on a hospital ship running from German East Africa to Cape Town during World War I.
COLLECTION SUMMARY
This collection contains two letters which describe Lincoln's desire to return home in the fall of 1917 to join the U.S. Army and her fears that she will not return in time to secure a favorable post.
