BIOGRAPHY
Elizabeth Pedro Taggart (b. 1962) was born in South Korea. In 1982 she graduated from the University of Rochester in New York where she completed the Navy Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Taggart was commissioned in the U.S. Navy in 1982 and served on active duty until 1991. During her career as a line officer she served at various duty stations including Norfolk, Virginia, the Pentagon, and the Bangor Naval Submarine Base in Maine. Taggart retired from active duty in 1991 and served in the Navy Reserves from 1991-2010.
She retired with the rank of Captain and currently lives in Greensboro, North Carolina.
