Rayford Milano Caudle
Caudle is one of the Ku Klux Klan and Nazi party members arrested following the November 3, 1979, Death to the Klan rally in Greensboro, N.C., where five protesters were shot and killed. At the time of his arrest, Caudle was a 37-year-old unemployed resident of Winston-Salem, N.C. He had been arrested several times for petty offenses since 1959. Caudle was tried and acquitted on civil rights charges related to the event in 1984 and was also found not to be liable in a 1985 civil suit filed by survivors of the shootings.
