This November 8, 1979, article from The Carolinian, the student newspaper of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), reports on a press conference held by the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) in wake of the November 3, 1979 Greensboro Massacre in which five party members were killed by Ku Klux Klansmen. RCP spokesman Dave Zeiger cited communications by Harold Covington of the American Nazi party in suggesting that Klansmen, Nazis, and the police were responsible for creating a “climate of fear.”
