This November 22, 1968 article published in the Guilford College student newspaper, The Guilfordian, announces an upcoming visit by author John Howard Griffin. Griffin wrote Black Like Me after spending two months disguised as a black man and living in African-American communities in the Deep South. His book explores the discrimination and hostility suffered by African-Americans via the lens of his own experience.
