Letter from UNCG Student Government Association president regarding the request for a black student lounge
February 18, 1971
Lindsay Lamson was a student at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a member of the Town Student Legislative Delegation, and first male president of the Student Government Association.
This February 18, 1971 letter from UNCG Student Government Association Lindsay Lamson is in response to the Neo-Black Society's request and petition for the university to create a black student lounge. Lamson's feels the request is “both reasonable and overdue” and supports the recommendation to the chancellor.
