Description: In this November 1946 article in the Guilford College newspaper, The Guilfordian, the paper’s staff report on a meeting of the Inter-Racial Club at the Guilford campus. The club included representatives from North Carolina A&T State University, Bennett College, Woman’s College (now UNCG), Greensboro College, and Guilford College. While there were no African-American students enrolled at Guilford in 1946, there were members of the college willing to participate in interracial organizations.
