Description: This December 8, 1955, article by Martha Jester of the Greensboro Record, reports that the Student Legislature of the Woman's College of the University of North Carolina (WCUNC) passed a resolution the night before “favoring equality of admissions policies and use of facilities to all students, regardless of race.” The resolution was to be sent to the WCUNC administration and trustees as well as to university faculty and the North Carolina General Assembly.
