Description:
This is a pamphlet distributed at the controversial Black Power Forum held November 1-3, 1969 at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) listing titles by fourteen authors as “required reading”. The authors cited are James Baldwin, Stokeley Carmichael, W.E.B. DuBois, E.U. Essien-Udom, Frantz Fanon, E. Franklin Frazier, Dick Gregory, Alex Haley, Nathan Hare, Malcolm X, Louis Lomax, Claude McKay, Nathan Wright, and Richard Wright. Nathan Hare was a participant at the forum.
