This May 1963 information sheet describes the poor conditions under which students arrested for trying to desegregate local theaters and restaurants, were being kept. The students were primarily from North Carolina A&T State University and Bennett College, although several from other area schools were involved. The document also includes a call to action to lodge complaints with local, state, and national government officials. It is unclear who created and distributed this document.
