James Sharbrough Ferguson served as chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 1967 to 1979.
In this memorandum from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson to H.L. Fergsuon, the chancellor inquires about student input into the negotiation of a new food service contract on the UNCG campus, and asks that H.L. Ferguson do anything he can to expedite the process. This action follows the UNCG food service workers' strike of May 27 - April 2, 1969.
