Description: In this May 12, 1969 letter to the Guilford College student newspaper, The Guilfordian, Robert Frazier disputes an April 25th, 1969 article claiming that he had admitted to “purchasing slum housing with his first savings.” Frazier denies the quote. Frazier goes on to correct The Guilfordian about a case involving the demolition of a Mr. Horton’s property by the City of Greensboro, claiming to represent Mr. Horton against actions he believes to be unconstitutional. A handwritten note at the bottom of the letter reports how the case went before the North Carolina Supreme Court which ruled in favor of Mr. Horton.
