Description: In this November 4, 1979, article from the Greensboro Daily News, staff writer Greg Lewis presents backround on the Workers Viewpoint Organization (WVO), originally named the Communist Workers Party (CWP). The group organized a November 3, 1979, Death to the Klan rally when five members if the CWP were shot and killed. Lewis discusses the history of the CWP/WVO, its mission to help workers and other "oppressed people", and its leader, Nelson Johnson.
