This black and white photograph depicts the Greensboro F.W. Woolworth Company store, which was the site of the 1960 sit-ins protesting business segregation. The photograph, looking south down Elm Street, shows the front of the store on the right side of the street. The date and the photographer are unknown, although elements in the picture indicate in may have been taken around 1964.
