This letter, dated November 22, 1967, is a response from University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Chancellor James Sharbrough Ferguson to Kathryn S. Ritchie, a student at UNCG. Ritchie had originally written Ferguson on November 16, 1967, thanking him for his comments on the controversial Black Power Forum, held November 1-3, 1967 at UNCG. Ferguson's response thanks Ritchie for her encouragement and restates his certainty about his position on the matter.
