Greensboro College's student newspaper, The Collegian, began publication in January of 1926. The newspaper collection contains extant copies up to the present. The student newspapers contain useful and interesting information about what life was like at the College and what the students of the time were thinking about. Included in this project are selected articles from the newspaper that document attitudes about integration from the 1950s, civil rights activities in Greensboro during the 1960s, the integration of the school in the 1970s, and the activities and opinions African American students.
