Carolinian

Collection Description:

The Carolinian is the student newspaper of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and its predecessors, the North Carolina College for Women and Woman's College of the University of North Carolina. It has been published continuously, although at different intervals, since 1919. The University Archives maintains a complete run of the newspaper, while copies are also available in the Jackson Library’s microfilm collection.

Items selected for this project include specific articles pertaining to integration of the school, race relations, and student and administrators’ responses to overall civil rights activities in the larger Greensboro community.
