Clip 6—School Rally Days

HC: What was the school rally day?

JC: School rally day.
School rally day was simply where Miss Baldwin believed, along with Miss Rogers out of Charlotte, that the school children should have an opportunity to perform and show their parents what they’d learned over the school year, over the year. And so what they did was all the schools, the church schools in South Carolina and North Carolina would come together and put on programs for that day.
And the South Atlantic Conference of the Seventh Day Adventist faith adopted school rally day and made it part of their regular program every year now. In fact, March the tenth, I believe it is, they’ll be in Orangeburg, South Carolina, for school rally day. This year’s school rally day will be Orangeburg, South Carolina.
