The Verticle Files Index is an online index for the Verticle Files Collection located in the Reference Department of Jackson Library at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The North Carolina Collection contains information about towns, cities, counties, events, landmarks, and other topics relating to North Carolina. This information is both touristy and scholarly and contains many newspaper articles from major North Carolina newspapers from all decades of the twentieth century. You can search for items in the North Carolina collection or use this alphabetical listing to browse through the folders in this collection (and the items in those folders). Note: this is an on-going project and some folders do not have individual items entered yet, but all folders do have materials in them.
