Citing a book in APA style

Here are the rules:

Lastname, Initials.
Examples:
Sullivan, D.
Nixon, R. M.
- Enclose in parentheses the copyright year.
- Follow the year with a period.
Example:
(2001).
- Give the full title, including any subtitle.
- Separate full title and subtitle with a colon.

Capitalize only the first word of the title and the first word of the subtitle,
and any proper names.
- End the title with a period.
- Italicize the title
(the computer will italicize for you in this exercise).
Examples:
Death of a salesman.
Storytelling and mythmaking: Images from film and literature.
- Find the place of publication on the title page of the
book.
- If more than one city is listed, use only the first.
- Follow the city with a colon.
Examples:
New York:
London:
- Find the publisher's name from the title page of the
book.
- Follow the publisher's name with a period.
Examples:
Elsevier.
Oxford University Press.
