Part of a series of at least thirteen covers that Sacker did for Alcott works about this time. This title is part of the Spinning-Wheel Series. Some of these Alcott titles were also published in England by Sampson Low . Curiously, a much later version of this title, published by Grosset & Dunlap retained the lettering but eliminated all the design elements (see below).
