Current Law Index provides cover-to-cover indexing of approximately 900 law periodicals from the U.S., Canada, Britain, Australia and New Zealand and includes allied disciplines such as criminology and accounting. It uses Library of Congress subject headings rather than the more specialized legal terms used in the ILP. Index to Legal Periodicals indexes about 725 titles. There is considerable overlap between the two sets but the Current Law Index tends to have more user-friendly subject headings. Both index book reviews and include separate indexes by case name and by statutes discussed in the articles.
