UNCG faculty are invited to apply for a two-day workshop on incorporating writing and information literacy skills more thoroughly into courses in all disciplines. These skills have been identified as essential for 21 st century students in several important higher education documents including the UNC Tomorrow Report and the Association of American Colleges and Universities’ “College Learning for the New Global Century” (LEAP) report. This workshop will provide the opportunity for participants to develop assignments that incorporate writing and information literacy skills into their course and improve student learning.
