- Covers product, service, and business lines, sales by continents and product lines, balance sheets, income and cash flow statements, ratios, stock, bond, and earnings information, top shareholders, subsidiaries, board members, senior executives and their salaries, and merger and acquisitions.
- Data can be exporting into Excel.
- Companies can be easily compared using the Peer Report and Peer Analysis tabs.
- The data in Osiris is also available through our WRDS subscription.
Business & Company Resource Center (2 concurrent users)
A one-stop-shopping database for company and industry research.
- Provides brief information on 445,000 US and international companies.
- Provides reports on over 1,000 US and international industries.
- Covers associations, company financials, company histories and chronologies, company rankings, market research reports, market share, products, suits, and claims.
OneSource Global (select "International Businesses" in ReferenceUSA)
Covers 4.6 million international companies (mostly private).
- Search results for companies can be sorted, and downloaded into Excel or PDF.
- Provides detailed profiles of over 15,000 international public companies, including corporate family, brands, financials, competition, strategic initiatives, executive biographies, directors and major shareholders, stock data, and business ratios.
- Also covers over 5,000 U.S. public companies.
- Provides the full text of RMA Annual Statement Studies (industry ratios) in PDF format (use the "Industries" section).
- Provides industry & market reports from Datamonitor, Freedonia, Business Monitor International, and STAT-USA/NTDB Industry Sector Analysis (use the "Industries" section).
- Provides SEC filings viewable in PDF, Word, Excel, or HTML (use the "News & Reports" section).

SimplyMap (10 concurrent users)
- A web-based mapping database for developing thematic maps and reports using thousands of demographic, business, and marketing data variables.
- Each user accesses SimplyMap through a "personal workspace"; you will need to create an account the first time you use the database.
- Covers census block-groups, census tracts, zip codes, cities, counties, states, and the entire United States.
- Includes Mediamark Research (MRI) data, covering usage and consumption for thousands of products, including brand data, details of frequency of usage, and more.
- Data can be exported into Excel and maps can be printed.

- Both Mintel (market research reports for the U.S. and Western Europe) and Euromonitor (extensive worldwide market statistics and research reports) have new portal-like interfaces that better illustrate their amazing content, and provide more search options.
- Just FYI, individual reports from those publishers sell for as much as $4,000 to non-academic customers (ex. see MarketResearch.com).
The U.S. and global Industry Surveys now provide Excel versions of the comparative company analysis.
- Since we pay for S&P Compustat data via WRDS, we now also have access to Compustat data via NetAdvantage as Excel downloads:
- U.S. company income statements, balance sheets, ratios, and monthly stock data are provided via a "Compustat Excel Analytics" link.
- Similar data is provided for international companies via a "Compustat International Fundamental Reports."
- Comparative reports of competitors (U.S. and international) are also provided through the Compustat data.
Hoover's Company Profiles via LexisNexis Academic
- LNA re-packaged its corporate directories into a "Company Dossier", which provides easier access to its fulltext Hoover's company profiles.
- Hoover's provides several thousand profiles of public and private, U.S. and international companies, covering executives, company description, history, NAICS and SIC codes, segemented sales data, and competitors.
