Jackson Library has several collections of interest to women's studies. The Woman's Collection includes material from the late 16th through the early 20th century on a wide variety of topics, primarily from the United States and Britain. See the Guide to Women's Resources for more information. The University Archives and Manuscripts area holds the papers of UNCG, a women's college from 1892 to the 1960's. Another important collection is the Women Veterans Historical Collection which focuses on American women in the military during World War II.ViVa Women's History
