To get to the full text of the journal article you must go through the Library's
web pages. We have paid for access to the journals. You cannot go to the publisher's
page to get an article.

This is an annotated list of the print (and some online) titles in the Library.
Included are directories for both state and national foundations, directories
of funding resources for special populations, and guides for writing grant
proposals.
- GrantSelect
This is the online version of the GRANTS Database containing approximately
10,000 funding opportunities provided by more than 4,000 sponsoring organizations.
GrantSelect comprises seven customized segments: Arts and Humanities,
Biomedical and Health Care, Children and Youth, Community Development, K-12
and Adult Basic Education, International Programs, and Operating Grants
for Nonprofit Organizations.

A high percentage of all grant money awarded is distributed by the foundations
described in this directory. On the left of the Foundation Center web page,
click on Foundation Finder or SearchZone. Within SearchZone, try the Advanced

Domestic Assistance
The online Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance gives you access to a
database of all Federal programs available to State and local governments
(including the District of Columbia); federally-recognized Indian tribal

institutions; specialized groups; and individuals.

This site allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive
grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov encompasses
over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making agencies.
It streamlines the process of awarding over $350 billion annually to state
and local governments, academia, not-for-profits and other organizations.

The Chronicle of Philanthropy is the biweekly newspaper of the nonprofit
world. It is the No. 1 news source, in print and online, for charity leaders,
fund raisers, grant makers, and other people involved in the philanthropic

- The Administration for Children
and Families
This is a federal agency funding dtate, local and tribal organizations to
provide family assistance (welfare), child support, child care, Head Start,
child welfare, and other programs relating to children and families. Note
