Healthfinder is a four-part free guide to reliable consumer health and human
services information, developed by the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Healthfinder can lead you to selected online publications, clearinghouses,
databases, Web sites, and support and self-help groups, as well as government
agencies and not-for-profit organizations that produce reliable information
for the public. An excellent starting point for locating information
on virtually any topic related to social work. Just enter your topic in the
search box.
The Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Formerly tknown as the State
Children's Health Insurance Program.
A state and federal partnership that targets uninsured children and pregnant women in families with incomes too high to qualify for most state Medicaid programs, but often too low to afford private coverage. The website is part of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
