                                                                                                                                                                                               Tests and Measurements

Patrons will use a variety of terms when they ask for assistance: scale, survey, test, measurement, questionnaire. Using any of these in the library catalog search may yield results but not necessarily what you want. Here are some selected LC Subject Headings that find several useful sources:

Attitude (Psychology)--Testing                                                          Psychological testing

Children--Intelligence testing                                                             Psychological tests

Educational tests and measurements                                                   Psychometrics

Intelligence tests                                                                             Questionnaires

Personality tests                                                                              Social interaction--Testing

Testing is a standard subdivision after the type of test. e.g. Ability, achievement motivation, happiness, perception, reasoning, values, etc.

Using "measures" or "measurements" as part of a keyword in title search will find lots of good sources. Using them as part of a subject search does not work well.
