Finding Legal Journal Articles

LexisNexis Academic

  1. Select the "LexisNexis Academic" link above.
  2. If you are off-campus, you will be asked for your E-Spartan username and password. If you are on-campus, you will connect into LexisNexis Academic.
  3. On the red Search bar at top, select “Legal”.
  4. The default screen searches law review articles.
  5. To find specific terms mentioned in the text of an article, you would type:  text (BCRA or McCain-Feingold or Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act)
  6. Use Expanded List option (beside Show) to see your terms used in the article
  7. Change Sort method (beside Sort) by choosing Relevance.
