Academic Search Premier
- Indexes and abstracts approximately 3,000 scholarly journals in a variety of subject areas.
- Full text available for over 1,200 journals; some of these date back to 1990.

Communication and Mass Media Complete
- Provides indexing and abstracting (as well as some full-text) for several hundred human communication and mass media journals.
- Narrow your search by adding additional search terms and connecting them with "and".
EBSCO Newspaper Source Plus
- Provides access to newspapers from all over the US, including several in North Carolina
- Use this if you're looking for information about a local organization for your community awareness speech.
