In Keyword searching, the computer hunts for all of your words in the title, subject, or notes lines. A Subject search will tell the computer to look for your terms only in the subject headings assigned to that book.
Remember that terms that you regularly use may not be the subject headings used in the Online Catalog. e.g."multicultural counseling" is not used as a subject heading but a keyword search will locate books with these words used in titles or chapter headings. The correct subject heading is "cross-cultural counseling."
Do a Keyword search on a term you know, click on the title of a book that looks promising, then check for the correct subject headings which will be underlined in blue under the publisher information. You can click on any subject heading to see other books on the same topic.
