Great American Court Cases.
This four volume set lists the basic facts about, and an essay discussing
the significance of, almost 800 court cases; all but 60 are Supreme Court
cases. Each of the volumes groups cases by significant concept: Individual
Liberties, Criminal Justice, Equal Protection, Family Law, and Business and
Government. Each volume has an index, including case names, covering all four
volumes.

Historic U. S. Court Cases: An Encyclopedia
Although this two-volume work covers only landmark cases concerning civil
liberties, for the cases included the summary and information about the significance
is extensive. Background details are provided as well as a brief bibliography
and an index of case names and subjects.
