- FREE offers free access (esp. useful for students and teachers) to
hundreds of internet-based education resources supported by numerous federal
agencies. A multitude of K-12 topics are covered.

- The library branch of DOE, which houses information and resources related
to DOE programs. Among the highly useful sites maintained at the NLE:

providing access to high quality lesson plans, curriculum units and other
