- The official site of the NC Public School System, provides information on current events and trends in NC public education.
DPI Data Reports and Statistics Section
- Information on standardized test results, financial data, school safety, and more.
- A website highlighting all of the U.S. Department of Education efforts "to ensure equal access to education and promote educational excellence throughout the nation." Includes an A-Z index of current educational issues.
- NC WISE OWL offers several databases for research by students of all age groups, such as the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia and Info Trac, among others. Useful web links for students, teachers, and parents are also included.
- The North Carolina Teachers' Network - a statewide network of educators using the power of the Internet to improve K-12 education in North Carolina. The Web site provides a collection of resources designed by experienced North Carolina educators for classroom teaching and learning and for professional development.
