This service is not limited to UNCG personnel!
It should be noted that as a United States and North Carolina government depository library, instruction sessions ARE available to non-University groups, assuming normal University scheduling and facilities availability. Community outreach is our middle name!
We Focus on Web-Based Government Resources!
We offer reference instruction with a particular emphasis upon World Wide Web government sources, which can then be utilized by anyone, anywhere, as well as print and other resources held within the library. Most sessions will be held in the Electronic "CITI" instructional lab, located on the main floor of the Library, right across from the Main Circulation Desk. The "CITI" lab has twenty (20) individual workstations AND projection capability for the instructor's workstation. In this manner, students may follow along on their own workstations, while observing the instructor's screen. Class size is NOT limited to 20, as students can double up on the workstations if necessary.
