| Searching for Reserves |
These step-by-step instructions are intended to be used by students and faculty to find traditional reserve materials in paper format. You may want to print these instructions and keep them nearby when searching for Reserves.
| 1. | Begin at the Library's Web site. ( http://library.uncg.edu ) |

Click on the "Reserves" link on the library homepage, or on the

| 3. | Enter the Instructors Last Name in the box provided (first name is optional) (examples: Smith brown JONES) |

-- OR -- Enter the course Number (no spaces or dashes) (examples: eng101 Rel207 LIS557) |

Click on the appropriate "Search" button. (NOTE: It is NOT possible to search both by Instructor's name and by Course Number at the same time. |

| 5. | For instructor searches, select your instructor's name from the search results, then select the course number from the next list. For course searches, select the the course number from the the search results, then select the instructor's name from the next list. | |
| 6. | Standard Reserves will provide the location, call number, loan period, and a link to "Additional Record Information." Most of these items are held at the Access Services/Reserves Desk (1st floor of Jackson Library) for limited check-out. Music Reserve items are held in the Music Library, School of Music Building. |
