Photocopying in the Library

Locations:

The Library has 4 photocopiers available for use by the public:

• Three copiers are located on the first floor of Jackson Library across from the Access Services (Check Out) Desk.
• One copier is located in the Music Library.

Cost Per Copy:

• $.10 per side of page for legal and letter paper.
• $.20 per side of page for 11 x 17 paper. (11 x 17 paper must be requested at the Access Services Desk.)

Payment Options:

1. UNCG FirstCard Plus ID's and Guest Print Cards
   • UNCG Students, Faculty and Staff can use their blue, UNCG FirstCard Plus to pay for photocopies in the Jackson and the Music Library. Value must be added to the E-Cash chip on the front of the card.
   • For those without UNCG FirstCard Plus ID, a reusable Guest Print Card with an E-Cash chip can be purchased for $5.00 from the Cash-To-Chip machine located across from the Access Services Desk. $3.00 goes towards the purchase of the card; $2.00, goes towards value.  Additional value must be added to the E-Cash chip on the front of the card.
   • Cash-To-Chip machines that can be used to add value to E-Cash chips are located across from the Access Services Desk on the first floor of Jackson Library, in the Music Library and in other locations on campus. Value can be added using $1, $5, $10, or $20. Coins can be converted to bills at the Access Services Desk.
   • Two of the copiers in the Jackson Library and the copier in the Music Library are dedicated to the use of these type cards.
2. Danyl Single Card photocopy debit cards
• User with existing Danyl Single Cards can use them in only one of the machines located across from the Access Services Desk. Additional value can be added to the card at the photocopier. Danyl cards can no longer be purchased.
3. Cash/Coins
   • Those who do not wish to purchase a Guest Print Card or a Danyl Single Card may use cash or coins.
   • One photocopier located across from the Access Services Desk accepts cash or coins (and the Danyl Single Card).

Microform Copiers:

• Microform copiers are available in the Reference/Documents Department located on the first floor of Jackson Library. Copies are $.10 each. Two machines accept UNCG FirstCard Plus ID's and Guest Print Cards; 2 are cash only - pay at the Reference Desk.

University Departments, Agencies, Offices, and Research Grant Holders:

• University Departments, Agencies, Offices, and Research Grant holders can purchased and/or add value to cards at the UNCG FirstCard Center located in room 121 of Elliott University Center. A prepared and signed FRS 33 Interdepartmental Invoice must be presented at the time of each departmental purchase or revalue; a FRS 35 Departmental Sales Invoice for Research Grant purchases. Funds can be added directly to faculty and staff ID's and/or Guest Cards with the name of the Department, etc., can be purchased.
• Danyl Single Card photocopy debit cards may no longer be purchased or revalued using the invoicing system. Users with these cards may use the value on them in the one photocopier that accepts them or have the value on them transferred to a UNCG FirstCard Plus ID or Guest Card at the UNCG FirstCard Center.
