 Biographical Note

Evelyn Louise Gordon of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina attend the North Carolina College for Women (now UNCG) from 1924-1928. Evelyn was a member of the Y.W.C.A. and the Baptist Students. She graduated in 1928 with a Bachelor of Art in Education.

 Collection Overview

The My Memory Book scrapbook, annotated in white ink throughout, includes correspondence, clippings, pictures, cards, invitations, autographs, postcards, advertising matter, receipts, booklets, ribbons, napkins, fabric scraps, pressed leaves, cigarette butts and box, party favors and other memorabilia. The programs include the Graduating exercises, Class Day exercises and Baccalaureate sermon for 1928.
