<abstract label="Abstract" encodinganalog="545">Mary Frances Ballew of Lenoir, North Carolina attended the Women's College of the University of North Carolina (now UNCG) as a freshman for two years, 1935 and 1936. There is no record of her graduating from the University.   </abstract>

<abstract encodinganalog="520">The scrapbook contains letters, newspaper clippings, holiday cards, telegrams, photographs concert and play programs, and autographs and comments from classmates. </abstract>
