ACQUISITION: This nucleus of the poster collection is a group of World War II related and war era posters that has been in Jackson Library since the 1940s. Found in the basement by an employee of the library, these posters were transferred to University Archives on August 12, 1998. Additional posters have been purchased since 1998. ARRANGEMENT: The posters are arranged by subject and stored according to subject and size. All sizes are in inches. Smaller posters are stored in the oversize storage/map case. Larger posters are stored in Room 22. If the artist is known, his or her name follows the poster title.
