Personnel and Planning Librarian
My responsibilities include the management of all human resources services and programs for the Jackson Library which include:

The recruitment of all professional, technical, paraprofessional, support staff and student workers

Planning and administering programs that meet strategic staff development training and learning needs

Working with employees and managers to resolve employee relations issues and concerns
-
Advising supervisors and staff on all aspects of the personnel system

Ensuring policy and regulation compliance which support diversity issues
-
Planning, developing and delivering long-term workforce plans and assisting with workflow analysis
-
Managing new employee orientation and retiree exit programs
I currently serve on the following Jackson Library committees:

Beautification Committee (Furniture and Window Treatments Subcommittee)

Display Case Committee (liaison to the Beautification Committee)
