Books

If a book you need for a class is currently unavailable, you may place a hold on it by clicking on the Request link at the end of the record. Once your book arrives back in the library, a staff member will notify you.

Articles

Journal, newspaper, and magazine articles are not in our online catalog. Instead, you will need to search in one of our 400+ electronic databases to find articles. Looking through our Subject Guides will help you narrow down your search to the databases most likely to have information related to your topic. To get access to these resources from home, you will be asked to log in with your UNCG ID number.

The research tutorial can also assist you in finding scholarly/peer-reviewed articles. Some databases have a box you can check to provide only peer-reviewed results.
